The SŽ 643 locomotive is a precise 1:8 scale replica of the original locomotive, built for personal use. It runs on a 24V system and is powered by eight 120W electric motors, delivering a total of 960W of traction power. Two 12V 100Ah batteries provide the power, and the locomotive is equipped with modern On-The-Train – Wireless electronics and a realistic sound system.
It can easily pull up to 10 adult passengers, doing so smoothly, quietly, and reliably. The locomotive is 8 years old and has been problem-free throughout its service. This year, it underwent a major overhaul – we upgraded the electronics and repainted the bogies and chassis. The upper body could benefit from some minor cosmetic touch-ups, but mechanically and electrically, the locomotive remains in excellent working condition.
