We are a team with over 10 years of experience in the field of garden railways. We specialize in products built to the standard 7 1/4″ gauge, including locomotives, wagons, signals, tracks, and other components. To date, we have built dozens of different locomotives and wagons. We also develop our own electronics and sound modules for the vehicles, and manufacture control panels for operating the locomotives.
All of our products are custom-made according to the wishes of our customers, making each item unique and tailored to individual needs.
History
My name is Anej Vaupotič, and I am the director of the company. It all started with my parents—both of them worked for the railway and passed their love for it on to me. I fell in love with trains at an early age; at home, I had a number of H0 scale trains and a full layout.
During my studies as a mechanical technician, I connected with a group of railway enthusiasts, which further deepened my interest. At the age of 18, I discovered 7 1/4″ scale models, and that’s when the idea of building my own railway and vehicles was born.
The beginnings were quite challenging—I learned the most through my own mistakes. I realized how crucial details like wheel profile, suspension, gear ratios, and much more really are. Around that time, I also created my first railway park, where I was the main project leader. One of the highlights was the restoration of a Class 362 locomotive cab. The park still exists today, although due to certain circumstances, I am no longer actively involved.
Today, I focus primarily on building locomotives, wagons, and control consoles. At the moment, our vehicles are hosted by the Krilato Kolo Association in Maribor, and in the more distant future, I plan to establish a new railway park.
