The Pab2 locomotive was originally built for personal use and designed to be as compact as possible – small enough to fit in the trunk of a car. Over time, it found a new owner, who now uses it for private purposes and appearances abroad.
It runs on a 24V system and is powered by four 120W electric motors, delivering a total of 480W of traction power. Two 12V 55Ah batteries provide the energy. The locomotive is also equipped with modern On-The-Train – Wireless electronics and a sound system for a more realistic experience. It can easily pull up to 5 adult passengers, doing so quietly, smoothly, and reliably.
